Yung-Kuei (Sam) Lee graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Chinese Culture in Taipei, Taiwan. He continued his education at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. During his 1st year as an art student, he took part in the 19th Art Exhibition of the Taiwan Province where his original oil painting was selected to be placed in the Taiwan Museum. From that point forward, Sam continued to accumulate numerous awards and his original oil paintings continued to be chosen for display in museums and galleries worldwide. For over 50 years, Sam's original paintings have been collected and treasured in Taiwan, Japan, Europe, and the United States. His abstract artistic creations reflect the constant changing nature of time, emotions, and our surroundings.
